About the Conference

The Conference is devoted to pertinent issues on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services that are parts of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and SDGs including combating climate change and its impacts, protecting, restoring and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems such as watershed management, as well halting biodiversity loss. It will also attempt to address issues relevant to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP21) Agreement as well as the Intergovernmental science-policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). The Conference will address a wide range of issues related to policy and implementation, particularly in the following areas: 







The Conference will feature presentations, panel discussions, and sharing real-life case studies, highlighting sustainable practices in undertaking climate change adaptation and mitigation, biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services activities supporting national policy objectives and competency needs.
